download pwnage 3.1.5 or the latest version
run (will search for bootloader 4.6, or x.x)
pwnage will generate iphone.xx.ipsw
follow instructions to put iphone in DFU mode (this may take a few attempts)
option-restore in itunes; select the iphone.xx.ipsw created by pwnage, then wait
